At the first stage of the Tenzor International Cup 2022, Zoran Paunovich, Andrey Kirilyuk, Dustin Baldewein, Sergey Volchkov will perform as part of the team.
Zoran Paunovich: “The Tenzor International Cup 2022 series attracted us for a number of reasons. Firstly, it is a high-status sailing competition with strong teams of participants. Secondly, when I participated in the opening of the Tenzor Sailing Club, I really liked this location – everything is very decent, good infrastructure and boats, excellent water area. The Pestovsky reservoir is one of the largest reservoirs, out of five water areas in the northeast of the Moscow region. With this in mind, there is more wind there, and it most often blows along. There are no boats, skiers and wake boarders here, especially the latter, which create an unpleasant artificial wave and interfere with racing. Therefore, we are always for the option of holding competitions of a good level in Pestovo. We don’t have a training plan, we need to perceive the racing process as a pleasure, and then everything will work out. Practice, however, often shows that our first day of competition is always not very productive, and in the following days we always try to recoup and catch up. Let’s see how it will be at the Tenzor International Cup 2022.”
