We continue to present with the teams that will take part in the first stage of the Tenzor International Cup 2022 series.
The Cote d’Azur team, led by Evgeny Andrianov, represents the yacht club of the same name, and experienced yachtsmen Alexander Bozhko, Alexander Martemyanov, Georgy Yatsun and Nikolay Doroshenko will perform as part of the team.
What attracted the team to the Tenzor International Cup 2022 series, Alexander Bozhko told the press service in an interview.
Alexander Bozhko: “I have been in sailing for 29 years, I have been sailing since I was 6 years old. I race in various classes of yachts. I prefer small boats, because the monotype and competition are at the highest level. Of the most significant achievements, I would note gold at the 2018 ArtTube Russian J/70 Championship and 2019, 2020 as part of the Akhmat team. At the Tenzor International Cup 2022 we will race for the Cote d’Azur Yacht Club, which is also located in Pestovo. We have a great desire to race. The Pestovsky reservoir is a good water area, one of the most spacious in the Moscow region. There is no difference where to race, the main thing is the unity of the team and stability. We decided to take part in the Tenzor International Cup 2022, because there are not many status competitions with a strong composition of participants. And the prize fund and the opportunity for a professional to be on the steering wheel also attract. We hope that we will be able to perform well at the competitions and adequately represent our yacht club».
