The international series of sailing regattas Tenzor International Cup 2023 is preparing to host even more participants at the second stage of the tournament.
From July 6 to 9, 26 sailing teams from 15 regions of Russia and neighboring countries – the countries of Belarus and Serbia – will meet in the waters of the Pestovsky reservoir. A representative fleet and the strongest yachtsmen – winners and prize-winners of international sailing series, world and European championships, Olympians and experienced amateurs will continue to fight for the main trophy of the tournament – the Tenzor International Cup, as well as a solid prize fund of 2 million rubles from the title partner of the project – Tenzor Consulting Group.
According to the results of the first of the four stages of the Tenzor International Cup 2023, which took place in early June, the three prize-winners were the teams of Hubex /Pirogovo Kirill Frolov (St. Petersburg), PAVETRA Andrey Bratan (Moscow-Minsk), “Akhmat” Hassan Hadjiev (Chechen Republic). A tight fight on the water was going on continuously, and the gaps between rivals of equal strength were minimal, therefore, at the second stage of the series, changes of leaders and permutations in the overall ranking are not excluded.
The competition format includes three racing days and short dynamic races with transfers. For the entire stage, depending on weather conditions, participants will spend at least 22-28 races on the water, which will require enormous physical and psychological endurance, skill and, of course, fortune, which, like the wind, can turn in any direction!
The program of the tournament includes one-day children’s sailing competitions of the Tenzor Cup Junior series, in which young yachtsmen from 9 to 13 years old actively participate, passing team relay races on Optimist boats and SUP boards, as well as interesting contests on shore. For young participants who are taking their first steps into the world of sailing, it is a truly grandiose event to be next to professional titled yachtsmen, feel their support and share with them the most incredible emotions and sports excitement.
The international sports tournament Tenzor International Cup 2023 is held with the support of the Russian Sailing Federation and is one of the largest and largest events in the calendar of sailing competitions.
